It does have some light crazing to the gloss glaze on the inside, otherwise it is in excellent condition. It dates from the 1950's

This cup and saucer by Klytie Pate features the cup handle fashioned as a seahorse. The diameter of the saucer is 112mm. The lighter area at the top of the saucer is where the glaze hasn`t taken before the firing. There are also some very minor chips to the cup rim. C1942.

This Cruffel Art Porcelain jug by Merric Boyd features a deep sea-green glaze on the body and a gnarled branch handle in a contrasting dappled glaze. It carries two original foil stickers-the one on the front proclaiming the piece to be "Art Porcelain" and one on the base stating "Cruffel Art Porcelain Melbourne". It stands 112mm high to the top of the handle and is excellent condition. It dates from 1934 or 5.

This waisted vase by Merric Boyd stands 128mm high and is 121mm in diameter. It features a dark blue drip glaze over a lighter blue glaze. Incised in the base is " M. Boyd 1927". It is in excellent condition.

This William Ricketts wall hanging sculpture is of Tjurki, a 12 year old boy from the Pitjantjatjara tribe at Ernabella Mission in Central Australia. Ricketts has incised his own name on the back and has also written in pencil "Tjurki Pitjantjatjara Tribe Musgrave Ranges". Ricketts visited Ernabella c1949-51. The sculpture is 145mm high and 155mm wide. It is in excellent condition.

It stands 175mm high and has a diameter of 215mm at its widest point excluding the handles(255mm including the handles). It is in excellent condition and dates from the 1930`s.

This roughly textured jug by Merric Boyd has the upper portion glazed in a darker brown. It is not signed by Boyd but, in his handwriting is incised on the base "May Hiscock 1927 May ?-this name is hard to read. Perhaps it was made as a wedding present. It stands 122mm high with a 114mm diameter at the top. It is in excellent condition apart from some light crazing.

This Peggy Whiting jug features roughly incised parallel lines under an unevenly applied dark blue glaze. Over the top of this was applied a vibrant blue/green drip glaze. It stands 136mm high and is in excellent condition. It dates from c 1935-40.
Hoffman Centenary jug

This small Hoffman jug was issued in 1934 to commemmorate the centenary of the founding of Melbourne. It features raised profiles of John Batman and John Pascoe Fawkner below a banner "Melbourne Centenary 1934" and the quotation "This will be the place for a village"(which differs from the large jug). It stands 120mm high and apart from a small chip to the underside, it is in excellent condition.
