This lidded Ridgway sugar bowl is decorated in crimson and gold. It stands 150mm high and is 156mm in diameter. It does suffer from a very minor loss of gold. It is unmarked but carries the fractional number 2/2342. There is an illustration of this shape in Geoffrey Godden's "Ridgway Porcelains". C 1830.
