This Shelley cup, saucer and plate features hand coloured roses and forget-me-nots on a printed black trellis on a Gainsborough shape. It is in excellent condition and dates from around 1916.
Minton hand painted and gilded plate

This Minton plate has been hand painted and gilded and features a central spray of flowers surrounded by six roses on the rim. It is 226mm in diameter. It is in excellent condition but does have a small chip to the inside of the footrim. The name Minton is impressed and there is a painters/gilders mark-"Q" C 1850.

This pair of EP lidded scent bottles are hosed in a box decorated with Mother-of-pearl and tortoiseshell. The box is lined with purple velvet and the lips of the box and lid are lined with ivory. The hand blown bottles are in excellent condition but the lids have some very very minor loss of silver. The box stands 56mm high, is 67mm wide and 39mm deep. C 1880.

This Shelley souvenir rose bowl is decorated with a transfer print of "Weeping Rock, Katoomba NSW." It is in excellent condition and has retained its original brass grille. There is, however some loss of gilding to the top rim. In addition to the Shelley backstamp, there is another stamp-"Made in England expressly for L.P. Goldstein Katoomba." It stands 110mm to the rim. C1930.

This cup and saucer by Enoch Wood and Sons is decorated with transfer prints of Faith, Hope and Charity. Faith and Hope are printed either side of the cup and Charity adorns the saucer. There is some loss of paint to the cup rim and there is a shallow chip to the footrim of the saucer. C1818-46.

This cedar three tier dumb waiter is fitted with two drawers and has retained its original patina and castors. It stands 1265mm high, is 1215mm wide and is 430mm deep. C1880

This Victorian Huon pine dressing table is fitted with five drawers which are faced with Bird's-eye Huon pine. It has been repolished and the castors and drawer handles are replacements. It stands 1710mm to the finials on the mirror, is 1220mm wide and is 510mm deep. C1880.
French walnut two door linen press
French walnut two door linen press. Item 2843.
This French walnut two door linen press is fitted with three fixed shelves and two internal drawers. One drawer is half width and the other is full width. There is also a full width secret drawer fitted to the base which is easily accessible without opening the doors. This piece has retained its warm, mellow original patina. There has been some borer activity in the past, but they are long gone, besides which I have treated it recently to ensure no more activity. It stands 2843mm high, is 1365mm wide and 525mm deep. C1870

This beautifully turned rosewood winding clamp is in excellent condition and dates from the middle of the 19th century. It is 137mm long and 42mm wide.

This pottery jug by Ugo Zaccagnini of Florence stands 214mm high and dates from the early 1930's. It is a very textured piece in both the plain areas as well as the incised areas. It has a few small chips to the rim, base and spout.
Flight, Barr & Barr armorial plate
Flight, Barr & Barr armorial plate. Item 2972.
This Flight, Barr & Barr armorial dessert plate dates from the period 1813-40 and bears the crest of an unknown family. The motto reads "PRO LEGE ET LEGE" which translates as "For King and the law". The plate is 266mm in diameter and is in very good condition with some rubbing of the gilding to the rim and centre and a very small area where the green ground has been lost.

Each diamond shaped panel on this Mother-of-pearl card case is engraved with abstract flowers. It is lined with red velvet and the opening edges are lined with ivory. There is also a small silver panel to the top to be engraved with the owners initials(it is currently blank). It measures 90mm long, 54mm wide and 9mm thick. It is in very good condition C 1850

This Royal Worcester Sabrina ware vase is hand painted by Walter Sedgley and depicts a goose flying over bare winter trees. It stands 155mm high and is in excellent condition. The date mark is for 1914.
Silver & Mother-of-pearl page turner
Silver & Mother-of-pearl page turner. Item 2966.
This sterling silver handled page turner features a blade of Mother-of-pearl. Due to the fragility of the blade, these are much rarer than those with more durable blades. Made in Birmingham in 1908, it is in excellent condition, with only a couple of very small nicks in the blade to mar its beauty. Unfortunately my photography skills don't show the blade to its best advantage, but it does possess lovely colour and figure. The whole piece is 255mm long and 20mm wide at the very end of the blade.

This egg shaped Shelley trivet or base of cheese dish is decorated with the "Cloisello" pattern. It is 241mm long, 193mm wide and stands 27mm high. It is in excellent condition but has lost nearly all its gilding. C 1915.
Wileman graduated jugs- pattern 7611
Set 3 Wileman graduated jugs pattern 7611. Item 2960.
This set of 3 Wileman Faience graduated jugs is decorated with scenes from Shakespeare's play "The Merrie Wives of Windsor"(Pattern 7611). The octagonal shaped jugs are known variously as "American", "Quaint", "Mayer" or "Mason". The height of the largest jug is 180mm. There is some crazing to the pieces and there is a small crack to the inside of the middle jug, but it is not visible on the outside. This pattern was introduced in 1909 and they carry the "Foley Faience" mark which was discontinued in 1910.

This hand coloured porcelain rack plate is by Royal Doulton and is 268mm in diameter and carries the impressed date of August 1923. The pattern is from an earlier series entitled "Persian A" which was withdrawn during World War 1. This has a different border to the earlier pattern. It is in excellent condition apart from two faint knife marks to the centre.

This Royal Doulton rack plate is decorated with a hand enamelled pattern entitled "Matsumai". The pattern number painted on the reverse is D5115 which is not noted in any of my references-perhaps an unreleased pattern?. It is 263mm in diameter and carries the impressed date for March 1932. Its condition is excellent apart from some crazing.

This painted lamp base by Martin Boyd features a lady and young girl in the dress of the early 1800's who have been picking flowers. It stands 185mm high and its only flaw is a small firing crack to the edge of the base. C1950

This two handled vase by John Campbell is dated 1934. It stands 188mm high and is 175mm in diameter. It has some faint scratches to the glaze, otherwise it is in excellent condition.

A very attractive Royal Worcester pot-pourri using the old Hadley shape. The body has two angular handles and stands on four curled feet. The lid is pierced to allow the scent to escape. Both the shape(187) and the painting of pink Cyclamen(pattern 65) are not that common. It stands 178mm high and is in excellent condition. It carries the date mark for 1905

This rose bowl by Henning Rathjen features a pattern of carved leaves and stems to the top with the outside covered in a rough cast off-white glaze. The diameter is 215mm and it stands 110mm high. It does have some light crazing to the gloss glaze on the inside, otherwise it is in excellent condition. It dates from the 1950's
