This set of 3 Wileman Faience graduated jugs is decorated with scenes from Shakespeare's play "The Merrie Wives of Windsor"(Pattern 7611). The octagonal shaped jugs are known variously as "American", "Quaint", "Mayer" or "Mason". The height of the largest jug is 180mm. There is some crazing to the pieces and there is a small crack to the inside of the middle jug, but it is not visible on the outside. This pattern was introduced in 1909 and they carry the "Foley Faience" mark which was discontinued in 1910.

This Wileman milk jug and waste bowl is decorated with the Kensington pattern(pattern 5023) on the Lily shape. It has lost some of the gilding to the rim of both pieces. C1895.

This Wileman souvenir cup, saucer & plate features the hand coloured crest of the city of Bristol on the Dainty shape. There are a couple of small chips to the underside of the cup's footrim and some slight loss of gilding to the rims. C1900

This Wileman cake plate is decorated with the Fern print pattern on the Century shape. It measures 235mm in diameter. It has some extremely minor loss of gilding to the rim, some very faint crazing and 2 spots of red paint ex factory. It dates from 1896-1902.

This Wileman cup, saucer & plate is decorated with the Fern print on the Century shape. It is in excellent condition, suffering only from an extremely minor loss of gilding to the lip of the cup and a very small stain to the inside of the cup. It dates from the period 1896-1902.

Hand gilded and partly hand coloured this Wileman Japan pattern dessert plate dates from the period 1889-91. The pattern number is 6369. Measuring 225mm in diameter it has suffered a very small loss of gilding, otherwise it is in excellent condition.

A very unusual jug from a Wileman toilet set. It stands 312mm high at the handle and is 345mm from the spout to the handle. There is some pitting to the glaze and some slight crazing and there has been some small repairs to the paintwork, done professionally. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. The backstamp shows "The Foley" above the entwined "CW" and then "Semi-Porcelain England". C1905.

Wileman hand painted and gilded Japan Black pattern on Albert shape. 180mm diameter. It dates fron 1886-90 and its condition is very good with some rubbing of the gilding, particularly around the edge of the plate. Please note that, although it is a very similar pattern, Item 1962 varies slightly from this piece.

Please note that, although it is a very similar pattern to Item 1963, this piece does not carry a pattern number.

This Wileman slop bowl and creamer feature an unusual Art Nouveau pattern "Petunia" pattern 9156 on the Snowdrop shape. Both pieces are in very good condition with some slight rubbing to the gilding on the handle of the creamer and the rim of the bowl and two or three small discoloured marks on the outside of the bowl. The bowl has a diameter of 160mm. Circa 1900.

Wileman muffin dish with "Festoon of Roses" pattern 9894 on Dainty shape. This would date from 1904-11. It is in very good condition with some slight rubbing to the gilding on both the dish and cover. The diameter of the dish is 178mm.

This small Wileman "Faience"" jardiniere is decorated with transfer scenes of windmills and small sailing boats on a yellow ground. It is 123mm high and 170mm in diameter. It is in good condition apart from a 7mm long chip to the underside which you only see when it is turned over. Circa 1900. "

This small Wileman Intarsio jug is one of the very early Intarsio patterns. The pattern number is 3031 and the pattern itself is a sinuous leaf pattern in dark browns, greens and blues with some of the brown being a little uneven. It stands 117mm high.

This Wileman platter is decorated with a blue & white pattern of three Chinese characters seated under an umbrella in a garden. It measures 355mm long and 290mm wide. It has small chip to the underside of the rim(not visible from the front), a fine 40mm hairline crack, and a two small discoloured areas which are visible in the photo. It also features an unusual makers mark-an impressed bird over an impressd J.F. WILEMAN. C1880
