This painted lamp base by Martin Boyd features a lady and young girl in the dress of the early 1800's who have been picking flowers. It stands 185mm high and its only flaw is a small firing crack to the edge of the base. C1950

This two handled vase by John Campbell is dated 1934. It stands 188mm high and is 175mm in diameter. It has some faint scratches to the glaze, otherwise it is in excellent condition.

This rose bowl by Henning Rathjen features a pattern of carved leaves and stems to the top with the outside covered in a rough cast off-white glaze. The diameter is 215mm and it stands 110mm high. It does have some light crazing to the gloss glaze on the inside, otherwise it is in excellent condition. It dates from the 1950's

This colourful 156mm diameter dish/wall plaque is decorated with a painted and sgraffito design of an Aboriginal man spearing fish in a river. It is signed "Janice James Australia 1956". It has a smallish chip to the rim near the top of the spear.

This cup and saucer by Klytie Pate features the cup handle fashioned as a seahorse. The diameter of the saucer is 112mm. The lighter area at the top of the saucer is where the glaze hasn`t taken before the firing. There are also some very minor chips to the cup rim. C1942.

This handpainted Martin Boyd plate features a ballet dancer on a pink ground. It is 210mm in diameter and apart from three wery tiny chips to the rim and some crazing it is in excellent condition. C1950.
AMB vase

This hand painted, matt glazed vase from the AMB studio is decorated with a large bull on one side and a rooster on the other, together with a smaller bird in flight and a fish among the vegetation. It stands 86mm high and is in excellent condition. It dates from the 1950`s.
Cruffel Art Porcelain jug

This Cruffel Art Porcelain jug by Merric Boyd features a deep sea-green glaze on the body and a gnarled branch handle in a contrasting dappled glaze. It carries two original foil stickers-the one on the front proclaiming the piece to be "Art Porcelain" and one on the base stating "Cruffel Art Porcelain Melbourne". It stands 112mm high to the top of the handle and is excellent condition. It dates from 1934 or 5.
AMB pottery dish

The decoration on this AMB pottery dish is attributed to Neil Douglas. It is not signed(other than an incised "AMB"") but the treatment is very much in Douglas` style and palette. It is 127mm in diameter and is in very good condition, suffering only from some crazing. C1950`s. "

This waisted vase by Merric Boyd stands 128mm high and is 121mm in diameter. It features a dark blue drip glaze over a lighter blue glaze. Incised in the base is " M. Boyd 1927". It is in excellent condition.
Ricketts sculpture

This William Ricketts wall hanging sculpture is of Tjurki, a 12 year old boy from the Pitjantjatjara tribe at Ernabella Mission in Central Australia. Ricketts has incised his own name on the back and has also written in pencil "Tjurki Pitjantjatjara Tribe Musgrave Ranges". Ricketts visited Ernabella c1949-51. The sculpture is 145mm high and 155mm wide. It is in excellent condition.

This Melrose two handled vase features a glossy dark blue drip glaze over a lighter blue glaze with an eggshell like texture. It stands 175mm high and has a diameter of 215mm at its widest point excluding the handles(255mm including the handles). It is in excellent condition and dates from the 1930`s.

This AMB vase stands 159mm high and measures 165mm across the top. It was decorated by Neil Douglas and bears the painted inscription "AMB" and "ND". The decoration is of a bamboo thicket in light and dark green and light brown over a cream ground with top and bottom of the vase encircled in a mottled brown. It is in excellent condition apart from some crazing. C1950.

Merric Boyd jug

This roughly textured jug by Merric Boyd has the upper portion glazed in a darker brown. It is not signed by Boyd but, in his handwriting is incised on the base "May Hiscock 1927 May ?-this name is hard to read. Perhaps it was made as a wedding present. It stands 122mm high with a 114mm diameter at the top. It is in excellent condition apart from some light crazing.

This Peggy Whiting jug features roughly incised parallel lines under an unevenly applied dark blue glaze. Over the top of this was applied a vibrant blue/green drip glaze. It stands 136mm high and is in excellent condition. It dates from c 1935-40.

Neil Douglas small bowl featuring a very plump bird roosting on a branch, surrounded by foliage. It is 123mm in diameter and stands 25mm high. It is signed on the base "Neil Douglas AMB Australia". Apart from some crazing it is in excellent condition.
Hoffman Centenary jug

This small Hoffman jug was issued in 1934 to commemmorate the centenary of the founding of Melbourne. It features raised profiles of John Batman and John Pascoe Fawkner below a banner "Melbourne Centenary 1934" and the quotation "This will be the place for a village"(which differs from the large jug). It stands 120mm high and apart from a small chip to the underside, it is in excellent condition.

This pair of Cruffel Art Porcelain vases are glazed in dark blue and stand 220mm high with the width at the shoulder 130mm. One carries the impressed stamp "Australian Porcelain Co. Ltd. Melbourne Cruffel Art Porcelain". They are both in excellent condition apart from one that has a small chip to the shoulder and some minor scratches. C1930`s.

This Cruffel porcelain jug is signed by Merric Boyd and is dated 1934. It features a drooping, windswept tree on both sides with the handle forming the trunk of the tree down to where it rejoins the jug, exposing the roots. It stands 198mm high and is 140mm in diameter. It is in excellent condition.
Mushroom decorated vase

This attractive mushroom decorated vase is 122 mm high and 185mm in diameter. It features a colourful and well moulded crop of mushrooms amid some long grass. The remainder of the vase is glazed in shades of light blue, light magenta and light green. It is thickly potted and in excellent condition apart from some crazing. It is incised on the bottom with glaze instructions. The last part of the signature is hidden by the glaze, but it appears to be D A Saunders. It dates from the late 1930,s to early 1940,s.

A small Merric Boyd pot standing 65mm high and 93mm wide at the flared top. It has a blue/grey glaze and is signed "Hand Craft Boyd 1921". It has a small indentation on the lip, caused I think, in the kiln and visible in the photo-otherwise it is in excellent condition.
