This mahogany veneer decanter box, features a mother-of-pearl escutcheon and contains five original hand blown and gilded decanters and one of similar vintage. Two of the decanters have sustained damage to the pouring rim. The box has retained its original patina and is in very good condition. It stands 250mm high, is 283mm wide and 206mm deep. C1800.

This cedar ladies writing box measures 350mm wide, 230mm deep and 112mm high and dates from C1850. It is in excellent condition and has retained its original patina. The leather on the slope has been replaced.

This box is of fiddleback blackwood with an inlaid panel in the lid. The panel is of silky oak and inlaid with various timbers and surrounded with ebonised stringing. It is lined with green velvet. Its condition is very good. The dimensions are 280x142x61mm. It probably dates from the 1920's.

This rosewood veneer cribbage box features a top inlaid with coromandel, mahogany and boxwood. It measures 257mm long, 93mm wide and 58mm high. Internally, it two compartments for decks of cards and a third for the cribbage markers(unfortunately missing its lid)It has retained its original patina and does have some slight damage to the cribbage board. C 1815.

This good quality, triple opening, brass bound mahogany writing box measures 497mm long, 270mm wide and 172mm deep. It is excellent condition and has retained its original patina. The leather inserts have been replaced. The top remains upright when open and the bottom part folds down to form the writing slope. The top contains a document folder and there are three secret drawers beneath the pen gallery. C 1830.
