Belgian equestrian trophy 1887. Item 4808.This Belgian equestrian trophy was presented to the winner of a saddle horse competition in 1887 in the city of Anvers, which is the French name for Antwerp. On the obverse are the coat of arms for the city, and on the reverse are the details of the event. The medal measures 50 mm (2 inches) in diameter. It is in good condition and is housed in its original presentation box, with the makers name M Vermeiren on the medal and also on the silk lining to the lid.
