Bendigo Pottery ashtray in the shape of a bottle kiln. Item 4636.These Bendigo Pottery ashtrays, slip cast in the shape of a bottle kiln, was as efficient as the real thing in creating a draught that cigarettes left in the ashtray burned quite quickly. As well as having Bendigo Pottery stamped into the base, the company’s name is also impressed into the scroll on the front. It stands 122 mm high, has a diameter at the base of 100 mm and is in excellent condition. These ashtrays were made around the late 1930’s.
