Copeland and Garrett hand painted cup and saucer. Item 2881.This Copeland and Garrett coffee cup and saucer is decorated with their hand painted and gilded pattern 5481, which was introduced in 1835. The cup is marked with the felspar body mark which was used from 1833 to 1838. The saucer carries the mark used from about 1838 to 1847. There is some slight wear to the gilding and a fine firing crack to the base of the handle where it joins the body. C 1838.
