Crocodile skin jug by Sankey and Sons. Item 4509.This very decorative large copper jug features a pressed crocodile skin effect by way of decoration. On the base are stamped the number 8, indicating that it holds 8 pints, and the letters JS&S B. It was made by J. Sankey and Sons of Bilston, near Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England. It stands 355 mm (14 inches) high and is in very, very good condition. It dates from around 1900.
