Derby hand painted and gilded trio pattern 126. Item 3931.The fluted body of this Derby hand painted and gilded trio is decorated with pattern 126 – sitting between two gilt lines there is a continuous line of dark blue ovals, each inside a gilt frame, and alternating with gilt diamonds. There is some very minor loss of gilding to the coffee cup and the saucer, whilst there is a bit more wear to the tea cup, which was obviously used more. There is also a hairline crack to the saucer. Marked with the puce Derby mark, this trio dates from around 1790.
