Enamelled thread and needle holder. Item 2431.This brass octagonal thread and needle holder has been decorated with an enamelled marbled effect. Inside is held a turned wooden baton for winding thread onto. This baton is hollow and has a brass cap to hold small needles or pins. It is 43 mm in length and has a diameter of 16 mm. There are a couple of small chips to the enamel, otherwise it is in very good condition.
