Engraved crystal sweetmeats comport. Item 4377.The bowl of this crystal sweetmeats comport is decorated with an engraved pattern of ferns, which was a very popular motif in the 1870’s and 80’s. It stands on a plain foot and has a tear in the stem. It stands 105 mm (4.25 inches) high and the bowl has a diameter of 117 mm ( 4.5 inches). There is a small inclusion in the foot and another in the bowl, plus two very minor scratches to the bowl.
