Hand coloured bowl by Brown-Westhead and Moore-pattern H8225. Item 2744.

This very pretty soup bowl by Brown-Westhead and Moore is decorated with swags of hand coloured flowers and finished off with some understated gilding. It carries the Brown-Westhead and Moore mark “Cauldon England”, as well as the retailer Richards Briggs & Co Boston, Massachusetts. The pattern number is H8225. It does have some small cutlery marks to the centre, otherwise it is in excellent condition. It measures 247 mm, or 9.75 inches in diameter and dates from the period 1891-7.
