Inlaid mahogany wall cabinet. Item 2182.This Victorian inlaid mahogany wall cabinet was intended to be used to display small items, perhaps hanging in a hallway or sitting room. It has retained its original hanging brackets, but it could also sit on top of a large chest of drawers or bookcase. Behind the glazed door is a single glass shelf and at each end are two open shelves, all of which are lined with the original brown velvet, now faded. It measures 615 mm in width, 165 mm in depth and is 485 mm high. It is very good condition. C 1890.
