Large silver plated serving spoon by William Hutton of Sheffield. Item 4506.This large good quality silver plated serving spoon in the fiddle pattern, was made by William Hutton of Sheffield. It measures 337 mm (13.25 inches) in length and weighs 146 gms. The handle is engraved with a family crest, probably Scottish, featuring a rooster or cock. There is a very small amount of wear to the back of the bowl where it has rested on a surface. It would date from around 1850-64.
