This Mother-of-pearl needlebook is decorated with an engraved design of stylised flowers and leaves. It stands 55 mm (2.25 inches) high and is 46 mm (1.75 inches) wide. It is in very good condition with the ribbon and the felt leaves being replacements. It dates from the early nineteeth century.
