Mother of Pearl ring or trinket box

Mother of Pearl ring or trinket box. Item 3476.This good quality hexagonal ring or trinket box is covered with Mother of Pearl and lined with red satin.  The lid features a six pointed star and the item stands on four ball feet. At its widest point the box measures 60mm (2 3/8ths inches) and it stands 40 mm (1.5 inches) high. It is in very good condition. Possibly French it would date from around 1900.
