Oval pressed horn box

Description

Oval pressed horn box. Item 3920.With its tight fitting lid, this oval pressed horn box could have been a snuff box or one used for powder. It measures 83 mm (3.25 inches) in width, 61 mm (2 3/8ths inches) deep and stands 38 mm (1.5 inches) high. It is in very good condition and would probably date from the last quarter of the nineteenth century.
