Pair Elkington silverplated candlesticks 1858. Item 3561.

Standing 312 mm (12.25 inches) high and with a base diameter of 157 mm (6.25 inches), this pair of silverplated candlesticks demonstrate the superb quality of the Elkington factory. The intricacy and detail are shown in the fine casting and the silver plating is in wonderful condition. The quality is shown further by the weight-each one weighs just over 1.1 kgs (nearly 2.5 pounds). On the rims under the lift out sconces is stamped the model number 9765. The Elkington stamp is punched into the foot of each one together with the date letter T for 1858.
