Remued commemerative jug Fawkner. Item 3323.
Produced in 1933-4 this Remued commemorative jug features a sprig-moulded portrait of John Pascoe Fawkner. On the reverse is incised “Souvenir of Melbourne”. It was issued to celebrate the centenary of Melbourne in 1934 with the portraits modelled by Margaret Kerr. It stands 118 mm high. It has two small chips to the rim and a smallish dull area where something has rubbed up against the jug.
