This Royal Doulton stein stands 140 mm (5.5 inches) high and is decorated with the New Cavaliers pattern (pattern D4749) with the Lion and Shield border decoration. This pattern was introduced in 1907 and extended until 1931. It is in excellent condition and dates from around 1930.
