This Royal Doulton tray features hand painted roses on a mottled ground. The pattern number is D6227 and the pattern name is Roses G. It measures 234 mm (9.25 inches) in length, 183 mm (7.25 inches) in width and is in excellent condition apart from some small gouges to the footrim that look like they may have happened in the factory when the clay was moist. The date mark is for 1948.
