Description

Royal Worcester hand coloured and gilded vase. Item 2579.This very pretty Royal Worcester porcelain vase has been decorated with hand colouring over a vague printed pattern to give the scene some depth. It is then finished off with raised enamel and gilding to give it texture. There is also gilding to the two handles and the base and rim. The vase shape  is number 2026, and this shape was issued in 1898. It stands 192 mm or 7.5 inches high. Originally this vase would have had a cover, but, alas, this is now missing. Otherwise it is very good condition. It carries the date mark for 1900.
