Shelley cake plate pattern 10434. Item 3566.

This Gainsborough shape Shelley cake plate is decorated with a very pretty pattern featuring a Greek key and trailing leaves, in green, interspersed with roses and forget-me-nots (pattern 10434). This pattern was used on Seconds Ware, for export to Australia, and was issued in 1909. The diameter of the plate is 236 mm and it is in excellent condition notwithstanding a couple of glaze flaws which were the reason it was downgraded to Seconds Ware. C1910.
