Item 4055.This sought after three volume set of “Cars & Motor Cycles” was edited by Lord Montagu of Beaulieu and Marcus W Bourdon, and issued in 1929. Bound in blue with gilt lettering, these books were aimed at the owner who wanted to be involved in the care and maintenance of his vehicle, as well as those engaged in the motoring industry. The information in the three volumes covers text as well as detailed diagrams and photographs and would have been very up to date in 1929. Lord Montagu was one of the great pioneers of motoring in the UK, and in his honour, his son established the world famous National Motor Museum at Beaulieu in Hampshire. The three books are in good condition. As these are heavy books, the postage will be commensurate.
