Tom Sanders plate. Item 1225.
This 168 mm plate is decorated with a sgraffito and painted design of a lady reclining on a couch in between two pierced hearts and inscribed “Je t`aime Yvonne Printemps”. Yvonne Printemps (1895-1977) was a French singer and actor. It is dated 1949 and incised “Dorian Sands” the pseudonym of Tom Sanders (1925-2008) . Its condition is good, but it does have some heavy crazing.
