Tom Sanders plate. Item 1224.
This 165 mm diameter plate is decorated with a sgaffitto and painted design of a cloth draped fireplace with a clock on the mantlepiece and inscribed “J`attendrai Tino Rossi”. Tino Rossi (1907-83) was a French singer and actor. The plate is incised “Dorian Sands” the pseudonym of Tom Sanders (1925-2008). It is dated 1945. It is in good condition with some heavy crazing.
