Moorcroft miniature Pomegranate vase. Item 3147.
This miniature baluster shaped Moorcroft vase is decorated with the "Pomegranate" design and dates from around 1916. It stands 80mm high and is in excellent condition with very little crazing.
Moorcroft Florian Ware vase – Poppy design
Moorcroft Florian Ware vase - Poppy design. Item 3145.
This early Moorcroft designed Florian Ware vase is decorated with the Poppy design and carries the James McIntyre backstamp as well as William Moorcroft's painted initials. It stands 215mm high and measures 117mm across the shoulder. It does have some crazing and two very small glaze chips, the largest being 2mm x 1mm. It dates from around 1900.
Moorcroft teapot Cornflower design

This Moorcroft teapot is decorated with the revived cornflower or brown chrysanthemum design on a mottled green ground. It is unsigned but carries two backstamps. The first is the standard McIntyre mark, in brown, and the second is a retailers mark for Townsend & Co Newcastle on Tyne. It has some light crazing and 2 very small chips to the inside of the footrim. It dates from the period 1912-13.

This Moorcroft lamp base is decorated with the "Hibiscus" pattern and stands 160mm high. It is in excellent condition apart from some faint crazing. It dates from the late 1950's.
Moorcroft salt & pepper shakers

This pair of Moorcroft salt & pepper shakers is decorated with the Wisteria pattern and dates from around 1920. They stand 150mm high. There is some crazing and a small area on the lid of the salt where the glaze hasn't taken.

This Moorcroft plate is decorated with the "Pomegranate" pattern and dates from 1914-18. It is 226mm in diameter and its only blemish is some faint crazing.

This large Moorcroft vase stands 310mm high and is decorated with the "Pomegranate" pattern. Dating from the 1920's its only blemishes are some faint crazing and two small glaze chips to the base.
Moorcroft vase- “Wisteria”

Standing 184mm high, and dating from the 1950's, this Moorcroft baluster shaped vase is decorated in the "Wisteria" pattern, and features very rich glazing. There is some slight crazing and a couple of very small areas where the colour hasn't taken(two of these are visible in the photo, on the red plums to the right of the yellow ones). These are covered by the final glaze. Otherwise its condition is excellent.

This Moorcroft vase stands 110mm high and is decorated with the "Wisteria" pattern. It is in very good condition with only a few small scratches to mar the glaze. C1950's.

This Moorcroft jug is decorated with the "Freesia" design on a green/blue ground. It stands 160mm high and has a diameter of 140mm. It is excellent condition apart from some crazing. It dates from 1945-9.
Moorcroft Anenome vase

This squat Moorcroft Anenome vase stands 105mm high and measures 132mm in diameter. Dating from the 1950's, it is a very good example with the colours still vivid, and is in excellent condition.
Moorcroft jug

This Moorcroft jug is decorated with the Grape and Leaf design on a dark blue ground. It stands 120mm high and is in excellent condition. It dates from the period 1928-35.
Moorcroft ginger jar

This Moorcroft ginger jar features the coral Hibiscus pattern from 1968-78. It stands 160mm high. It is in excellent condition apart from some crazing.
Moorcroft bowl

This Anenome decorated Moorcroft footed bowl is 185mm in diameter and stands 54mm high. It is in excellent condition apart from some light crazing and dates from 1945-9.
Moorcroft Pansy vase

This large(12" high) vase is a wonderful example of Moorcroft pottery. The colours are bright and vibrant with little bleeding into other areas. Its condition is excellent with only some crazing and some minute paints chips to mar its glaze. There are, however, two shallow firing cracks to the underside of the base. These have been roughly patched up in the factory before the glaze firing and William Moorcroft's signature traverses one of them.
