It is decorated with a printed blue and white willow pattern later known as “Turner’s Willow”. The finial is also shown in Plate 21b of Bevis Hillier’s “Turners of Lane End”, and Plate 357, page 286 of Godden’s “Guide To Mason’s China and the Ironstone Wares”. It hasĀ  some very small chips to the inside of the base and a small chip to the inside of the footrim. It would date from the period 1800-6.
