Charles Wilton vase. Item 4705.To create focal points on this wheel thrown vase, Charles Wilton has indented each side and decorated them with ascending and descending crescents of a vermillion coloured glaze. Wilton (1916-2000) was one of the co-founders of the Potters Cottage in Warrandyte in 1958 and retired in 1992. This vase stands 190 mm high and has a diameter of 130 mm. It is in very good condition and would date from the 1970’s.
