Fischer and Mieg Imari pattern bowl. Item 3254.
This hand coloured and gilded Imari pattern porcelain bowl is from a dessert service by Fischer and Mieg of Bohemia. The diameter is 297 mm (11.75 inches) and it stands 40 mm (1.5 inches) high. It is in excellent condition with the colours and gilding still quite vivid. However there is some very slight rubbing to the gilding on the rim. It has the initials “F&M” impressed to the back and dates from the late 1880’s.
