Mother-of-pearl card case

This hinged top mother-of-pearl card case measures 106 mm high and 81 mm wide. It is velvet lined and the opening faces are lined with ivory. It also has a silver strip to the top for the owner’s initials. It is in good condition and dates from around 1850.
