New Hall cup & saucer pattern 1045. Item 3734.

This New Hall cup & saucer is decorated with a colourful hand painted shell pattern (pattern 1045). It is unmarked but corresponds to the pattern shown in Plate 52, page 137 of Geoffrey Godden’s “New Hall Porcelains”. It was also purchased as a part teaset with other items marked with the pattern number. It has a few minor chips to the paintwork only, on the rim of both pieces and a small unglazed area on the top of the handle. C1813-7.
