Souvenir cotton reel holder St Paul’s Cathedral London. Item 1239.Shaped like an elongated acorn, this turned wooden cotton reel holder is decorated with a transfer print of St Paul’s Cathedral London and would have been sold as a souvenir. It stands 70 mm (2.75 inches) high and has a diameter of 28 mm (1 1/8th inches) at its widest. Probably German in origin, it is in good condition with a little rubbing to the transfer print. c 1880.
