First period Worcester slop bowl Prunus Root pattern. Item 4875.This First period Worcester porcelain slop bowl is decorated with the hand painted blue and white Prunus Root pattern. The decoration has been nicely done with the painting on the outside continuing over the rim to the inside. It measures 152 mm (6 inches) in diameter and stands 72 mm (2.75 inches) high. The glaze to the bottom of the inside is very worn and there are three small chips to the rim. It would date from around 1755.
