Hadley Worcester hand painted reticulated vase. Item 3162.

This Hadley Worcester onion shaped vase is decorated with subtle hand painted sprays of white and grey dog roses and green foliage. A smaller spray is on the reverse. It also features a reticulated neck, coloured clay mounts and gilding. The reticulated neck is a frieze of hand cut flowers. It stands 160 mm high (6.25 Inches). The shape number is F127 which is a shape not seen all that often. Its condition is very good, but it does suffer from some loss of the gilding to the rim and the foot which is just visible in the photo. It dates from 1897-1900.
