Hand painted Dutch delft tile. Item 4849.The cheerful and colourful pattern on this hand painted Dutch delft tile is known in Dutch as Negenbloem, or Nine Flowers. It was a popular pattern from around 1830 through to around 1910. It measures 130 mm (5 inches) square and 7 mm (just over 1/4 of an inch) thick. Unfortunately it has lost a piece of the bottom right corner. It would date from around 1880.
