Hand painted porcelain spill vase, possibly Rockingham. Item 4169.Possibly by the Yorkshire factory of Rockingham, this porcelain spill vase has been decorated with gilding and a hand painted scene of two cherubs cavorting on a cloud. The reverse features a spray of two roses and some bluebells. It stands 112 mm (4.5 inches) high, with a diameter of 57 mm (2.25 inches) at the top, whilst the foot has a diameter of 69 mm (2.75 inches). It is in very good condition, but does have some very faint crazing. C 1830.
