Description
Merric Boyd pot. Item 2517.
A small Merric Boyd pot standing 65 mm high and 93 mm wide at the flared top. It has a blue/grey glaze and is signed “Hand Craft Boyd 1921”. There is evidence that it has been used as a candleholder-whether it was made for that purpose is unknown. There is a patch on the side where the glaze has been burnt in the kiln, and a shallow chip on the lip.
