Description
Japanese hand painted chrysanthemum charger. Item 4107. This centre of this Japanese porcelain charger is decorated with three large hand painted and gilded chrysanthemums, the national flower of Japan. The rim features gilded flowers on an iron red ground. A very decorative piece for the middle of a table or on a stand, it measures 415 mm in diameter and stands 55 mm high. There is a little bit of wear to the pirce, but overall it is in good condition. c 1890.
